EDGE entity TRUST has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with South Africa-based ADG Mobility to establish a framework for cooperation on the production of specialized land systems equipment in the UAE. The agreement was signed during the Make It in the Emirates forum, held from May 19 to 22 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
TRUST, a critical component of EDGE’s defense and national security portfolio, provides advanced equipment, technologies, and services. ADG Mobility specializes in the design and manufacture of protected vehicles, subsystems, and components.
The MoU outlines plans for joint work on the design, development, and manufacturing of specialized land systems, including customized vehicle platforms, to be produced locally in the UAE.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Jasem Alzaabi, Vice President of Business Development (Trading & Mission Support) – EDGE, and Dr. Stefan Nell, Chief Executive Officer of ADG Mobility. Also present were Dr. Abdulmunem Alshehhi, Chief Operations Officer – TRUST, and Syed Haroon, Manager of Engineering and Development – TRUST.
