DroneShield is a defense technology company based in Australia, with operations in both Australia and the United States. The company specializes exclusively in counter-UAS (unmanned aerial systems) solutions, offering mission-ready systems that combine radio frequency sensing, artificial intelligence, sensor fusion, and electronic warfare. Its technologies are used to protect military forces, law enforcement agencies, critical infrastructure, and high-security sites across the globe.
Speaking to Defensehere.com, Sales Director Hans Hoyer provided an overview of DroneShield’s current capabilities and strategic focus. He stated that the company is entirely dedicated to counter-drone technologies and does not engage in any other defense segments. This single-focus approach, according to Hoyer, has allowed DroneShield to refine and expand its solutions over the past decade. The company’s product line is divided into four main segments: dismounted systems for infantry and police units, mobile systems designed for vehicles and vessels, fixed-site installations, and command-and-control (C2) systems that integrate data across platforms. Among the highlighted solutions are lightweight wearable detectors and handheld jammers, designed for flexibility in complex operational environments.
