Türkiye's ASELSAN announced several key developments this week, including a major domestic contract, new international cooperation agreements, and the debut of a new air defense system at one of the world’s leading defense exhibitions.

The company signed a contract worth 1.65 billion euros with Türkiye’s Presidency of Defense Industries for the procurement of air defense systems. Deliveries under the agreement are scheduled to take place between 2027 and 2031, according to ASELSAN’s statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).

At the DSEI 2025 defense and security exhibition in London, ASELSAN formalized multiple cooperation agreements aimed at expanding its global partnerships. These included a joint venture agreement with Indonesia’s PT Republikorp for the local development of radios and communications, a memorandum of understanding with Brazil-based AKAER covering electro-optics, avionics, mission systems, and armored vehicle modernization, and a letter of intent with Nokia focused on military communications.

Also at DSEI, ASELSAN presented its latest technologies, showcasing the KORKUT 100/25 close-in air defense system abroad for the first time. The system, capable of countering mini and micro drone threats, has been integrated into the EJDER YALÇIN 4x4 tactical armored vehicle, combining mobility, protection, and operational flexibility.
