Organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Interior, İGEF is supported by the General Directorate of Security, the Gendarmerie General Command, the Coast Guard Command, the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority, the Presidency of Migration Management, KOSGEB, the Turkish Police Foundation, the Gendarmerie Public Order Foundation, and the Security Industry Business Association (SİSİAD).

More than 200 companies are taking part this year, alongside delegations from 37 countries. Platinum sponsors include Sarsılmaz, Ateşçi, and Yılmaz Makina, while Repkon serves as sector sponsor. Defensehere is the media partner of the fair.

At the opening, Expolink Chairman Zeki Erdoğan said the fair stands out as a platform focused on the Interior Ministry’s security requirements. He underlined the importance of Türkiye sharing its decades of experience in counterterrorism and internal security with partners and allies. Erdoğan noted the aim of expanding the event in 2026 with greater international participation.

Deputy Interior Minister Mehmet Aktaş described İGEF as more than an exhibition, calling it a platform that reflects Türkiye’s vision of security. He emphasized the need for new approaches to counter emerging threats and said Türkiye has become a producer and exporter in this field.

Stands from Sarsılmaz, Beyond Technologies, ASELSAN, HAVELSAN, and FlyBVLOS drew attention during the first day of the event. The next edition of İGEF is scheduled for October 1–3, 2026, again in Ankara.
