Türkiye’s aerospace company TUSAŞ said Tuesday it has completed the 500th delivery of the S18/19 integrated SWIFT fuselage section produced for Airbus’ A320 single-aisle aircraft family.
The milestone was announced via the company’s official social media account, noting that the delivery reflects a steady increase in production capacity since the first handover. TUSAŞ said the growing output is strengthening its position in the global aircraft structures market as a supplier to Airbus’ commercial aviation programs.
The S18/19 SWIFT fuselage section is a critical structural component of the A320 family, one of the world’s most widely used commercial aircraft platforms. TUSAŞ said the achievement underscores its expanding role in international aerospace supply chains and its long-term industrial partnership with Airbus.
