Makine ve Kimya Endüstrisi (MKE) announced that it signed an export contract with Poland during the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2025 exhibition held in London between September 9–12.
The agreement covers the supply of 20mm ammunition for the KAI FA-50GF Fighting Eagle Block 10 light combat aircraft operated by the Polish Air Force. The deal was concluded following discussions at the exhibition.
Poland’s Minister of State Assets, Konrad Gołota, visited the MKE stand together with his delegation, where they met with Türkiye’s Deputy Minister of National Defense and MKE Chairman Alpaslan Kavaklıoğlu, and MKE General Manager İlhami Keleş. The parties discussed ongoing and potential cooperation opportunities.
MKE highlighted the development in its weekly bulletin, where it also reported recent deliveries to the Turkish Armed Forces and industry partners, including aircraft bombs, artillery ammunition, sniper rifles, and training grenades. The company also noted the completion of a small arms ammunition production line project in Mongolia, developed in cooperation with the Defence Industrial Corporation.
At DSEI 2025, MKE displayed nearly 60 products across 36 categories, ranging from infantry rifles and heavy weapon ammunition to countermeasure materials and CBRN equipment. The company held talks with delegations from 43 countries and signed three export agreements, including the deal with Poland.
MKE also took part in the Yıldırım-2025 mobilization exercise organized by the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, where its rifles, heavy weapons, and ammunition were used in field scenarios.
