World Defense Show (WDS) will be held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, between 4-8 February.
Organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) of Saudi Arabia, WDS is patronized by King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia.
WDS aims to be an important platform for networking, cooperation, experience sharing and innovation in all areas of the global defense industry.
At WDS, which will last for 5 days, defense companies will exhibit their products in an 800,000 m2 area consisting of three large exhibition halls and open-air exhibition areas.
WDS offers a special platform for breakthroughs in defense technology, where entrepreneurs and manufacturers can showcase their transformable concepts and technologies to the global defense industry. R&D services are also offered in the Innovation Area within the center.
Furthermore, panels will discuss topics such as advances in defense technology, changing security threats and the impact of innovative start-ups. WDS 2022
WDS was first held in 2022. More than 600 companies from more than 40 countries participated in WDS 2022, and more than 65 thousand people visited the fair. It was announced that the value of the defense agreements signed at the fair, which was visited by more than 100 international delegations, was 29.7 billion Saudi Riyals (7.9 billion US Dollars).
