SYS Group, with CANiK at the forefront, achieves record growth in 2024

SYS Group, a prominent representative of Turkish defense industry and home to the renowned CANiK brand, has reported impressive growth in 2024, both domestically and internationally. The group’s domestic sales increased by 25% in dollar terms, rising from $147.7 million to $185 million, while export revenues grew by 28%, reaching $175 million compared to $137 million the previous year.

Delivering High-Value Defense Solutions Globally

SYS Group, through its companies CANiK, AEI Systems, and UNIROBOTICS, successfully designed, developed, and delivered a wide range of defense products in 2024, including firearms, weapon accessories, anti-aircraft systems, medium-caliber cannons, and remote-controlled weapon systems. These efforts solidified the group’s reputation as a reliable supplier, meeting the increasing global demand for defense products with timely and seamless deliveries.

2025 Targets: Consolidation and Expansion

Looking ahead to 2025, SYS Group plans to consolidate its operations, including those in the United States and the United Kingdom, and forecasts consolidated revenues exceeding $250 million. Of this, $190 million is expected to come from domestic sales. The group also aims to enhance its presence in global markets by participating in 15 international defense exhibitions across five continents, further promoting its products and expanding its customer base.

SYS Group General Manager Cahit Utku Aral highlighted the group’s commitment to supporting friendly and allied nations with advanced technologies and high-value-added products. He noted that investments planned in 2022 and completed in 2024 have strengthened the group’s global position.
