SIATT opens new headquarters on 10th anniversary

Brazilian defense company SIATT has inaugurated its new headquarters in São José dos Campos, coinciding with the company’s 10th anniversary.

The new facility, located in the Jardim Limoeiro district, spans 6,000 square meters and consolidates administrative and engineering units, laboratories, and production areas. The site is intended to expand SIATT’s capacity to develop and manufacture advanced defense systems.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by São Paulo’s Vice Governor Felício Ramuth, Brazilian Navy Commander Admiral Marcos Sampaio Olsen, EDGE Group CEO Hamad Al Marrar, and Anderson Farias, Mayor of São José dos Campos. Other guests included former minister General Sérgio Etchegoyen and aerospace pioneer Brigadier Hugo de Oliveira Piva, along with several civilian and military officials.

Speaking at the event, SIATT CEO Rogério Salvador underlined the company’s ongoing contracts with the Brazilian Navy and Army. These programs focus on systems for the protection of national territory and the “Blue Amazon” maritime zone. Salvador also highlighted the role of municipal and state governments in supporting SIATT’s growth, as well as the contribution of the company’s partnership with EDGE Group, which acquired a 50 percent stake in 2023.

“This inauguration is not about buildings, but about people. I am very proud of Team SIATT: people with commitment, knowledge, passion, dignity, and hope. More than cutting a ribbon, we are opening a path, built hand in hand, with united hearts, possible dreams, and new achievements. The future has arrived! SIATT makes it happen!” Salvador said.

Founded in 2015, SIATT develops and integrates defense and security systems, with a focus on missiles, weaponry, and embedded technology. Its key programs include the Mansup anti-ship missile, the extended-range Mansup-ER developed with EDGE, the Max 1.2 AC anti-tank missile, and the Blue Amazon Management System (SisGAAz).

The company is also building a new plant in Caçapava to further expand its manufacturing capacity. With EDGE as a shareholder, SIATT aims to increase its international presence and participate in joint defense and security projects abroad.
