While evaluating the year 2024, Alp Önder Özpamukçu, General Manager of Sarsılmaz, stated that they had a year in which innovation, strategic collaborations and global expansion were at the forefront. Özpamukçu emphasized that they have strengthened their presence in the US market with the inclusion of the SAR9 SOCOM model in the inventory of the Galveston Police Department in the US state of Texas as an official duty weapon. He also stated that they are preparing the use of artificial intelligence and advanced technology with new investments and studies to be made by the company in 2025.
In his statement to the Defensehere.com correspondent, Alp Önder Özpamukçu, General Manager of Sarsılmaz, stated that innovation for Sarsılmaz in 2024 is important in terms of global expansion and strategic collaborations and said:

By participating in many prestigious fairs in the international arena, we proudly represented the Turkish defense power with our state-of-the-art products. Integration of remotely controlled weapon systems"Another of our most important works in 2024 is that we started to produce remote-controlled weapon systems by integrating Sarsılmaz weapons with our company, which was established under the name of "Best Defence". These systems are completely supported by artificial intelligence and have the capacity to distinguish between elements such as humans, vehicles and drones. These systems, which we have developed in such a way that they can make target decisions, can become operational without the need for any user intervention. Moreover, with a touchscreen interface, it can bring the user to the precision of a sniper with only 15 minutes of training. We use these systems on many platforms and also position them to increase security at police stations."

SARBOT was 100% developed by SARSILMAZ engineers and equipped with innovative features and stood out as Türkiye’s first armed robot system. SARBOT, which is completely domestic, has once again reinforced our company's technological leadership by offering innovative solutions in both defense and security fields. While 2024 was a year in which SARSILMAZ achieved all of its business goals, it also allowed us to set bolder targets for 2025."

"We have the capacity to produce barrels from 5 meters in length to 80 mm inner diameter""TR Mekatronik, which was established in partnership with SARSILMAZ and Turkish Aerospace to produce the high-caliber weapon systems that Türkiye needs, has become one of the leading manufacturers of medium-caliber weapon systems in Türkiye in a short time. TR Mekatronik is developing day by day with the aim of advanced technology and high production capacity. We aim to complete the production of 30 mm gun systems in the near future. As of now, we have the capacity to produce barrels from 5 meters in length to 80 mm in diameter. This means that we can produce high-caliber artillery systems, especially those that our Navy needs."
