Rostec’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has handed over a new batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Russian Ministry of Defence. The aircraft have joined the operational-tactical aviation fleet of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS).

According to the manufacturer, the aircraft completed the full cycle of factory testing, including checks across various operational modes, before flying to their designated airbase.

The Su-34 is designed to strike ground, surface, and airborne targets at long ranges, including infrastructure protected by air defence systems. It is capable of operating under enemy fire and electronic warfare conditions, both day and night, in varying weather. The platform can also conduct aerial reconnaissance missions.
