Rosoboronexport to showcase record number of products at IDEX

Rosoboronexport, a subsidiary of Russia’s Rostec State Corporation, will present its largest-ever exhibit of Russian defense products at IDEX 2025. The exhibition, set to take place from February 17 to 21 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), will feature advanced military technologies, many of which have proven their effectiveness in modern combat scenarios.

According to Rosoboronexport Director General Alexander Mikheev, the company’s showcase will include the latest advancements in Russian defense technology. "At IDEX 2025, we are presenting the maximum number of new products from the Russian defense industry in recent years. Our exhibit highlights a comprehensive approach to weapon development and modernization, reflecting the realities of high-intensity warfare," Mikheev stated. He further revealed that the company has already secured contracts worth over $4.5 billion with 15 partner nations in 2025.

Highlighted Russian Defense Technologies

The Russian pavilion, located in Pavilion 10, will span nearly 1,000 square meters and feature over 40 Russian defense manufacturers. Key highlights include:

T-90MS Main Battle Tank: Developed by Uralvagonzavod, the T-90MS integrates cutting-edge protection systems against anti-tank weapons such as UAVs, ATGMs, and grenade launchers. It features enhanced firepower, a digital fire control system, and new guided missiles. Pantsir-SMD-E Surface-to-Air Missile System: A next-generation air defense solution, capable of countering UAVs, including quadcopters. With a payload of 48 TKB-1055 missiles and a range of up to 20 kilometers, it provides sustained protection for critical infrastructure. Kornet-EM Anti-Tank Guided Missile System: Equipped with a remote-control feature, ensuring operator safety in combat. It introduces the new Bulat missile, capable of penetrating 250 mm of armor behind ERA. Berezhok Combat Module: Designed for integration with Russian and foreign-made armored vehicles, offering increased operational capabilities. KUB-2-1E and KUB-2-2-2E Loitering Munitions: Newly unveiled by Kalashnikov Group, these loitering munitions are tailored for modern combat operations. Advanced Small Arms: A range of Kalashnikov assault rifles, Chukavin sniper rifles, and PPK-20 submachine guns will also be displayed.
