Patria has reached an agreement to sell its 60% ownership in Estonian defense service provider Milworks OU to Mootor Group, which currently holds the remaining 40%. Once the transaction is finalized, Mootor Group will assume full ownership of the company. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
The move aligns with Patria’s strategy to consolidate its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations in the Baltic region around its expanding site in Valmiera, Latvia.
In a statement, Patria Executive Vice President for Sustainment Solutions, Pekka Ruutu, said the company remains committed to the defense market in Estonia, as well as the broader Baltic region, through its operations in Latvia. He also noted that Milworks is expected to continue developing under its new ownership.
Milworks, based in Tapa and Võru, provides MRO services for both armored and non-armored military vehicles, as well as other defense equipment. The company employs 15 people. The transaction is expected to close by July 31, 2025.
