Lockheed Martin signs three new agreements at IDET 2025

Lockheed Martin has signed three separate agreements with Czech companies Aero Vodochody Aerospace, VR Engineering, and VZLU Aerospace during the IDET 2025 defense exhibition in Brno, Czech Republic.

In an interview with Defensehere.com, Karl Sapienza, Deputy Director of F-35 Customer Programs at Lockheed Martin, outlined the focus areas of the agreements. The collaboration with Aero Vodochody Aerospace centers on a multispectral reconnaissance-type pod, while the agreement with VR Engineering involves virtual reality (VR) capabilities. The third partnership with VZLU Aerospace will focus on the development and application of artificial intelligence technologies.

Sapienza noted that Lockheed Martin has already launched eight joint projects and plans to initiate three more in the near future. He emphasized that the partnerships with the Czech defense industry and government have streamlined the process for fulfilling project requirements.
