At the 2025 Paris Air Show, Spain’s Indra Group and Belgium’s Intersoft Electronics signed a strategic agreement aimed at reinforcing their presence in the European military radar and counter-UAS (C-UAS) market.
The agreement, signed by Indra Group CEO José Vicente de los Mozos and Intersoft Electronics CEO Luc Switten, outlines plans to jointly pursue new business opportunities in Europe, with a particular focus on anti-drone systems and radar solutions. The ceremony was held at Indra’s stand and was also attended by Indra Group Executive Chairman Ángel Escribano.
As part of the collaboration, the two companies will explore relocating part of Indra’s radar production to Intersoft’s facilities in Flanders. This potential move is intended to bring production closer to key European customers, offering more flexible support and deeper industrial cooperation within the region.
Intersoft Electronics has over four decades of experience supplying radar subsystems and providing maintenance and lifecycle services to armed forces across Central and Northern Europe, including Belgium and the Netherlands.
Indra, meanwhile, is a major global supplier of surveillance radars and counter-drone systems, with exports spanning five continents. The company’s technology is used by NATO and several advanced European militaries, offering high-performance detection and neutralization capabilities against unmanned aerial threats.
The partnership reflects both companies’ intent to respond to growing European demand with scalable, locally supported, and interoperable solutions.
