IDV Latam (IVECO DEFENCE VEHICLES - LATIN AMERICA) has completed the delivery of the first batch of refurbished Lince 4x4 armored vehicles to the Brazilian Army.
The refurbishment project, carried out at IDV’s facility in Sete Lagoas (MG), was developed in collaboration with the Brazilian Army’s logistics units. It included corrective maintenance, systems recovery, and upgrades aimed at extending the operational lifespan of the vehicles.
The company confirmed the handover in a recent statement shared via LinkedIn:
“IDV Latam has just taken another important step in strengthening the National Defense Industrial Base. We have delivered the first refurbished Lince 4x4 armored vehicles to the Brazilian Army. The action is the result of agile and collaborative technical work, carried out at our plant in Sete Lagoas (MG), in partnership with the Army's logistics units. Soon, these vehicles will be on the streets of Rio de Janeiro, integrating the security operation for the BRICS summit, demonstrating IDV's ability to offer agile and effective solutions for highly complex missions. The project included corrective maintenance, systems recovery, and actions that extend the vehicles' service life.”
