HAVELSAN’s ADVENT system deployed on Indonesian Navy vessel

The Indonesian Navy has officially put into service Türkiye’s nationally developed Combat Management System, ADVENT, along with the FLEETSTAR Ship Data Distribution System, on its fast attack craft KRI BELATI-622.

The systems, developed by HAVELSAN, were delivered and integrated following a series of sea acceptance trials and live-fire tests. Both are now operational, marking the first deployment of Turkish naval combat software in Indonesia and expanding HAVELSAN’s footprint in the Asia-Pacific defense market.

The KCR-60 class vessel, built by Indonesian shipbuilder PT TESCO Indomaritim, underwent comprehensive trials during which ADVENT and FLEETSTAR were tested for interoperability and performance. HAVELSAN engineers provided on-site support throughout the installation and evaluation phases.

Officials from the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, the SATGAS test team, and PT TESCO Indomaritim expressed satisfaction with the systems’ performance and digital architecture, noting their contribution to the navy’s modernization efforts.

Digital Core of Modern Naval Platforms

ADVENT functions as a network-centric combat management system, integrating sensors, weapons, communication tools, and tactical data into a single operational framework. This integration enhances mission coordination and situational awareness across multiple platforms.

FLEETSTAR, operating as the data backbone of the vessel, collects and distributes real-time information from various onboard subsystems. Together, the two systems create a secure, unified digital environment designed to improve efficiency and operational resilience.

Strengthening Cooperation with Indonesia

HAVELSAN CEO Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar described the project as a step forward in defense cooperation between Türkiye and Indonesia.

“This achievement reflects not only the technological excellence of HAVELSAN but also the strong strategic partnership we are building with Indonesia. The successful integration of ADVENT and FLEETSTAR demonstrates Türkiye’s capability to deliver advanced, network-centric naval systems on a global scale,” he said.

Nacar added that HAVELSAN plans to deepen collaboration with the Indonesian Navy through future projects, including the OPV-90, Merah Putih, and new KCR-60 and KCR-70 class vessels.
