Germany orders PULS Rocket Launchers from Elbit Systems

German Armed Forces. The agreement was made through collaboration between the Dutch, Israeli, and German governments.

The contract, executed in partnership with KNDS Deutschland, will involve the delivery of rocket artillery systems, including necessary adaptations and the integration of German C4I equipment such as command and weapons control systems. The systems will undergo testing by Germany's procurement agency, BAAINBw, and other technical test centers to obtain approval for service use within the German Armed Forces. The systems will also be supported through in-service support programs.

Elbit Systems, in collaboration with KNDS Deutschland, will provide the PULS systems, which will serve as the foundation for Germany’s Future Long-Range Indirect Fire System. The partnership is aimed at ensuring a cost-effective, flexible, and operationally proven solution to enhance the operational capabilities of the Bundeswehr.

The EuroPULS system, which is a European version of the PULS Rocket Launcher Artillery System, features an open-architecture design that allows integration onto various platforms. The system is also compatible with third-party munitions, enabling the use of rocket munitions produced by other manufacturers.
