Turkish land systems manufacturer FNSS is set to present its latest innovations in combat vehicles and turret systems at the 17th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), taking place from July 22–27 at the Istanbul Expo Center. At Hall 4, Booth 4-A05, the company will debut two major developments: the KAPLAN Combat Fire Support and Reconnaissance Vehicle (FSRV) and new anti-tank configurations of the ÇAKA Remote Controlled Weapon Station (RCWS) family.
KAPLAN FSRV Makes Its DebutMarking a new phase in the evolution of armored fire support, the KAPLAN FSRV is designed to meet the operational demands of both symmetric and asymmetric warfare. Drawing inspiration from leading platforms such as the British Ajax, French Jaguar 6×6 EBRC, and Russian BMPT Terminator, the FSRV combines battlefield survivability, high mobility, and enhanced situational awareness with network-centric operational capability.
Built on the proven KAPLAN MT medium tank platform, currently in service with the Indonesian Army, the vehicle integrates a state-of-the-art TEBER-II 30/40 two-man turret. The turret features a 30 mm Mk44 dual-feed automatic cannon, coaxial 7.62 mm MG, and a roof-mounted 12.7 mm machine gun. It is also equipped with dual ATGM launchers on both flanks, supporting a variety of guided missiles or loitering munitions depending on user requirements.
The vehicle’s reconnaissance and ISTAR capabilities are supported by panoramic sights, independent hunter-killer optics, a battlefield management system, and optional tethered drones. Its fully digitized systems and electric turret drive allow for accurate engagement while on the move, with two-axis stabilization, advanced fire control, and automated target tracking.
Designed for joint operations, the FSRV is compatible with NATO communication and logistics standards and can be transported via strategic airlifters such as the A400M, C-17, and Il-76. Its compact architecture, rear-mounted powerpack, and modular protection systems offer enhanced survivability and adaptability for a wide range of operational environments.
FNSS will also present for the first time two new configurations of its ÇAKA Remote Controlled Weapon Station: the ÇAKA 30/AT-O and ÇAKA AT-K. Originally developed for the Marine Assault Vehicle (MAV) program and delivered to the Turkish Naval Forces in 2023, the ÇAKA RCWS has proven its capabilities in amphibious missions with a 12.7 mm MG and 40 mm AGL combination.
The new ÇAKA 30/AT-O variant has been developed for naval and land use under demanding environmental conditions. It is armed with the CANiK VENOM LR 30 mm automatic cannon and two ready-to-fire ROKETSAN OMTAS long-range anti-tank missiles. Modular integration options allow users to equip different missile types supported by an onboard fire control system, enabling engagements beyond 4 km.
Meanwhile, the ÇAKA AT-K version features a CANiK M2 QCB 12.7 mm MG and two ROKETSAN KARAOK short-range anti-tank guided missiles. Both systems are adaptable for integration on tracked or wheeled vehicles, as well as light surface vessels such as patrol boats and assault craft, offering lightweight solutions with extended firepower and indigenous missile capabilities.
With over 35 years of experience, FNSS continues to deliver advanced solutions for armed forces worldwide. Its KAPLAN tracked vehicle family and PARS wheeled armored platforms are recognized globally for performance, modularity, and adaptability. FNSS supports its users not only through high-end technology but also with in-country partnerships, technology transfer programs, and localized production.
At IDEF 2025, FNSS reaffirms its commitment to operational excellence, user-centric design, and technological innovation in the face of evolving global defense challenges.
