The US and Saudi Arabia are planning to begin their first experimental counter-drone exercise in mid-March, Al-Monitor reported.
The first “Red Sands” exercise, planned for mid-March, reportedly will not include other military forces from the region.
Future Red Sands exercises will include counterparts from additional Middle Eastern forces, all of which are expected to take place in Saudi Arabia, according to US officials.
