Ukroboronprom reported that Malyshev Plant State Enterprise continued upscaling its portfolio of orders and at the beginning of 2022 the total amount of signed contracts surpassed 3.4 bln UAH (~$120M).
In a press release on 16 February Ukroboronprom stated the following:
Due to effective cooperation with Ukrspetsexport, which is part of the State Concern, implementation of the order for repair of the T-80UD tank fleet is underway. This 85.6 mln USD contract was signed in February 2021 with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Last year, Ukroboronprom and Ukrspetsexport made considerable efforts to return back to Pakistani’s arms market, which is one of the strategic markets for Ukraine's weapons sales. As a result, Malyshev Plant received additional contracts in the armored industry amounting to a total of over 32M USD within military-technical partnership with Pakistan.
Currently, marketing and sales department of the enterprise has performed an audit of all offers from business partners to maximize the load of Malyshev Plant with profitable orders for manufacturing of military and civilian products. It is referred to restoring production of caterpillar tapes for BMP-1/2, increasing production volumes of BTR-4 hulls and modernizing together with Kharkiv Armored Plant of the T-64 tank to the T-64BM-2 type. Among three issues considered were also ability to produce Dozor armored personnel carriers at the plant, to receive direct orders from Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense for supplies of spare parts for armored vehicles, to restore production of BTR-4, etc.
In addition, the management of the enterprise is implementing programs to optimize production and management structure of the plant, involving new employees and creating new jobs for workers.

This creates conditions for sustainable development, profit, performing of all social obligations to workers and increasing their wealth. Restoring high standing of Malyshev Plant among partners and customers both in Ukraine and around the world is our main goal and priority."
