Türksat and the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Azercosmos) have signed a cooperation agreement for the provision of the areas outside the coverage area and Ku-Band satellite capacity.
The agreement was signed by General Manager Hasan Hüseyin Ertok on behalf of Türksat and Chairman of the Board of Directors Samaddin Asadov on behalf of Azercosmos.
The company aims to provide services to many countries with the agreement to provide Ku-band satellite capacity in regions outside the coverage area of its satellites.
Space Technology Conference (STC) 2024 Central Eurasia Space Technology Conference started at Ankara JW Marriott Hotel. “Cooperation Agreement for the Provision of Ku-Band Satellite Capacity in Regions Outside the Türksat Coverage Area” was also signed at the organization, which brought together the leading organizations of the region in the field of space technologies.
With the agreement signed by Hasan Hüseyin Ertok, General Manager of Türksat, and Samaddin Asadov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Azercosmos, Ku-Band satellite capacity was provided in regions not covered by Türksat. Türksat General Manager Ertok wished the agreement to be beneficial for both companies and hoped to increase their cooperation.
