The full-scale detonation rehearsal of the Smart Bottom Mine MALAMAN, which was initiated by TÜBİTAK and continues under the main contractorship of Koç Bilgi ve Savunma Teknolojileri AŞ, was successfully carried out.
With MALAMAN, Türkiye's first indigenous and national smart bottom mine, entering the inventory of the Turkish Naval Forces, foreign dependency in this field will come to an end.
