Machinery and Chemical Industry (MKE) and Repkon Group signed a memorandum of understanding with Azerbaijani defense industry companies regarding collaboration on various issues.
The agreements were signed by MKE General Manager İlhami Keleş and Repkon Group President İbrahim Külekçi.
Turkish defense industry company officials led by Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, President of the Defense Industry Agency, met with Vugar Mustafayev, Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense industry was discussed and it was pointed out that this cooperation will be further developed.
In his speech, Haluk Görgün mentioned the importance of collaboration for the further development of Azerbaijan's defense industry, and emphasized that the relations between the two countries are based on mutual trust, confidence and support, and are developing successfully.
Among the defense industry executives accompanying Görgün were Temel Kotil, President and CEO of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI); Mehmet Akif Nacar, CEO of HAVELSAN; Ahmet Akyol, CEO of ASELSAN; Murat İkinci, General Manager of ROKETSAN; Behçet Karataş, General Manager of ASFAT; İlhami Keleş, General Manager of MKE; Özgür Güleryüz, General Manager of STM; İbrahim Külekçi, Group President of REPKON; and Emin Öner, Chairman of the Board of ASSAN.
