Turkish Aerospace to open internships for Qatar University students under newly inked deal

Turkish Aerospace and Qatar University agreed to a cooperation of research and engineering through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition & Conference (DIMDEX) on Tuesday.

Taking place at the second day of DIMDEX, President and CEO of Turkish Aerospace Dr. Temel Kotil and Qatar University President Dr. Hassan Rashid Al-Derham signed an MoU which will increase collaboration between the two entities.

Speaking at the signing Dr. Kotil said, “What we want to do is open an engineering office at Qatar University, put my engineers from Türkiye to team up with the students.”

Turkish Aerospace also made the following statement on their social media account: “We continue our international academic collaborations with @QatarUniversity(QU)! With the summer internship program that will add a new dimension to commercial relations, we will contribute to qualified and well-trained manpower in the medium/long term.”
