SAHA EXPO 2024, one of the world's leading defense and aerospace exhibitions, will officially begin on October 22, 2024, at the Istanbul Expo Center. Organized by SAHA Istanbul, the largest industrial cluster in Turkiye and Europe, the event will run until October 26 and cover 90,000 square meters, including eight exhibition halls, foyers, and open spaces. The expo will bring together over 1,400 exhibitors from across the globe, as well as more than 300 official delegations and 150 commercial delegations.
This year’s event is expected to make a significant economic impact, aiming for a value of over $2 billion. With 150,000 visitors anticipated, including industry professionals and representatives from major defense and aerospace companies, SAHA EXPO 2024 promises to be a vital platform for B2B meetings—25,000 of which are scheduled—and major product launches. More than 300 products will be introduced, and over 200 signing ceremonies will take place during the exhibition.
SAHA EXPO is designed to showcase Turkey’s growing production capabilities in defense, aerospace, maritime, and space industries, reinforcing the country’s independent manufacturing power on the global stage. High-tech, strategically important products will be on display, with several being revealed for the first time. The event will highlight Turkey's position as a key player in the global defense and aerospace sectors, while facilitating international partnerships and trade opportunities.
At the previous SAHA EXPO in 2022, 957 companies participated, including 390 international and 567 domestic firms. The event attracted 268 official delegations, 112 commercial delegations, and a total of 78,643 visitors from 109 countries, 40,000 of whom were industry professionals. With the 2024 edition expected to surpass these numbers, SAHA EXPO continues to grow as a critical hub for the global defense industry.
