The European defence and security technology company, Thales, will participate in the 3rd edition of FEINDEF on 17, 18 and 19 May in Hall 10 of IFEMA at stand D06.
In a firm support to Spain's most important and increasingly international defence and security trade fair, Thales is participating this year as a Silver Sponsor to showcase its innovations in digital security and cybersecurity, as well as new developments in communications, command and control, optronic systems and naval systems.
Thales is firmly committed to put faith in digital transformation and, as a new feature this year, there will be an important part of the stand dedicated to digital security and biometric systems responsible for the intelligent management of borders, as well as cybersecurity from the company S21Sec. All this without forgetting its capabilities in command and control, collaborative combat, surveillance systems and naval systems.
We will be joined by Jesús Sánchez Bargos, President and CEO of Thales in Spain, José Sarnito, Director of Defence and Strategy and our Commercial Director, Francisco Simón among the entire Thales team. We will also be joined by Hervé Damman, our VP of International Development for Europe to support Thales' new regional strategy in Southern Europe.
On the afternoon of 17 May, we will present Virtual Map, a digital tool that enables collaborative planning from any location. We will also present the MINS surveillance system for detection and identification based on image processing that applies an AI module and 5G technologies for sensor connection, among many other solutions.
On 18 May, at 11.00 am, our VP of International Development for Europe, Hervé Dammann, will take part in the round table organised by the Ministry of Defence on "Challenges for Defence companies in the new local and global scenario", in which the challenges facing the European defence industry, the emergence of new technologies and the change of paradigm...
