On the eve of the opening of the Paris Air Show, the Paris Air Forum brings together aerospace industry players for a day of round tables, debates and exchanges with the media and the general public. The tenth edition of this event will take place on Friday 16 June in Paris, and several Thales executives will be taking part.
The theme chosen for this 2023 edition, "Together, for a new take-off", illustrates the aerospace sector's ambition to find innovative and sustainable solutions to meet the planet's major challenges, starting with climate change.
Yannick Assouad, Executive Vice-President, Avionics, will be taking part in the debate "How can we move towards zero emissions without delay?" She will also show how artificial intelligence will change the way we travel.
The future of air transport will not be the only theme addressed on the day. Thales CEO Patrice Caine will be taking part in a round table discussion entitled "War in Ukraine: towards a new momentum for transatlantic cooperation" while Marc Darmon, Executive Vice President, Secure Information and Communication Systems at Thales, will draw lessons from the conflict from a cyber and artificial intelligence perspective.
Alexandre Gentot, Director of Human Resources for the Avionics business, will speak on the address the question "Can aviation attract young people?", while Hervé Derrey, Executive Vice-President Space, will take part in the round table devoted to "Constellations: what are the technological and operational challenges for Europe?".
Finally, Anthea Comellini, an engineer at Thales Alenia Space and a reservist astronaut for the European Space Agency, will take part in the "European astronauts: dreams and dependencies..." segment.
