STM, which has been successfully carrying out projects in Pakistan for a long time, will exhibit its products at the 11th International Defense Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS 2022), which will be held in Karachi, Pakistan, between 15 - 18 November 2022.
STM, which has an office in Karachi, will welcome its guests to the fair at booth A22 in hall 1.
STM will showcase the Stack (I) Class Frigate and present the Pakistani Marine Supply Tanker (PNFT) as well as the small-sized submarine STM500 to the participants.
Producing world-leading and competitive platforms in the field of tactical mini-UAV systems, STM will bring together Turkey's first mini-strike UAV KARGU, as well as the spotter UAV TOGAN and the fixed-wing striker UAV system ALPAGU to South Asia.
STM General Manager Özgür Güleryüz stated the following in his evaluation:

We have accomplished important projects in the friendly and brotherly country of Pakistan. We want to sign up for associations and joint works. STM's activities in Pakistan
The Pakistan Maritime Supply Tanker (PNFT) Contract, which includes the design and construction of a Marine Supply Tanker, was signed on January 22, 2013 in Rawalpindi/Pakistan between the Pakistan Ministry of Defense Production and STM. Pakistan Marine Supply Ship was launched on August 19, 2016 with a ceremony held in Karachi, made its maiden voyage on March 31, 2018 in the Indian Ocean after the outfitting activities, and was handed over to the Pakistan Navy on October 16, 2018, as PNS MOAWIN.
For the half-life modernization of French-made AGOSTA 90 Class B submarines in the inventory of the Pakistan Navy and agreement involving the modernization of three submarines was signed between Pakistan Ministry of Defense Production and STM on 22 June 2016 in Rawalpindi/Pakistan. The modernization of the PNS/M HAMZA (S-139) submarine was completed and delivered to the Pakistan Navy on 29 April 2021.
In IDEAS 2018, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between STM and Pakistan Air University under the leadership of the Defense Industry Presidency (SSB). With this agreement, STM exported its capabilities in integrated cyber security, big data and informatics to Pakistan.
Having gained the trust of the Pakistani Navy, STM takes part in the 4 Ada Class Corvette Projects to be produced by Turkey for Pakistan, with its engineering capability for the supply and integration of the main propulsion system.
IDEAS 2022
262 delegations from 51 countries visited the IDEAS fair, which was held every two years and was not held in 2020 due to the coronavirus. A total of 524 companies and organizations, 320 of which are international and 204 are Pakistani, opened stands at the fair.
Turkey will participate in the fair, which will be held for the 11th time this year, with 28 companies that will open stands.
