The first test firing of the SONGAR 7.62 mm armed ammunition version, developed in cooperation with Sarsılmaz and Asisguard, was successfully completed.
Domestic infantry rifle SAR 15T with a caliber of 7.62x39 mm was integrated into the domestic armed drone SONGAR.
For the first time, a gun of this caliber was installed on SONGAR, in which rifles of 5.56x45 mm caliber were previously integrated.
The firing range of 100 meters with 5.56x45 mm rifles will increase to 400 meters with SAR 15T. Thus, the possibility of the drone being hit by the enemy will be minimized.
