SDT Space and Defense Technologies, a Turkish defense industry company operating in the fields of electronic warfare, communication, simulation, training and mission systems, was established 19 years ago today, on February 11, 2005.
SDT develops domestic products and capabilities in R&D-based fields within the Middle Eastern Technical University (METU) Teknokent campus in Ankara.
In the post made on the company's X account regarding the anniversary, the following statements were made:
"We are proud and excited to reach our 19th anniversary with our original and advanced technology products, strong collaborations and steady growth.
We would like to thank all current and past SDT members who have contributed to us reaching these days, all our stakeholders who have supported us on this journey, especially the Turkish Armed Forces, the reason for the existence of our sector, and the Secretariat of Defence Industries, the guiding force of our industry, as well as our investors who, with their trust, took our Company to the BIST100 in the first year of our public offering."
