“We specialize in aerial delivery systems, naval decoy systems, and personnel parachute systems,” explained Blake Whitrow, Business Development Manager of IrvinGQ elaborating on the functionality of each system.
One standout offering is the PRIBAD system, an integral component of IrvinGQ's Maritime Craft Aerial Delivery System (MCADS) family of heavy marine airdrop systems, which is increasingly adopted by NATO nations. Developed from the PRIBAD21 platform, spanning 21 feet, it operates with similar operational and maintenance procedures, ensuring reliability and consistency.
Regarding naval decoy systems, Whitrow mentioned their widespread adoption, currently in service with notable navies including the UK, US, Canadian, and New Zealand Navies.
The inflatable decoys by the company are globally recognized as leading solutions, having safeguarded ships from RF missile attacks for over three decades now.
Commenting on ATAX Marine, a versatile maritime aerial delivery system catering to small to medium-sized craft and equipment resupply, the company official highlighted its modular design, capable of accommodating boats up to six meters in length.
With its inflatable components, ensuring recoverability upon water landing, ATAX Marine facilitates seamless airdrops of various maritime assets, including Personal Watercraft, Kayaks, Rigid & Inflatable raiding Craft, and resupply loads.
Each platform module measures 2.74 m x 2.46 m (108” x 96”), aligning seamlessly with existing airdrop systems. The system can be configured for single or double deployment, enabling the airdrop of semi or fully-inflated craft as per mission requirements, with the added flexibility of floating or sinking based on operational needs.
