PN MİLGEM Project Review meeting to build the the third frigate was held in Istanbul between ASFAT and a delegation from Pakistan.
The 2nd Chief of Pakistan Navy Vice Admiral Imran Ahmed, DGMP Major General Usman Haq and Karachi Shipyard Commander Ather Saleem and their accompanying delegation attended the meeting held at the ASFAT Istanbul Shipyard Command building.
ASFAT General Manager Esad Akgün met with the Pakistani delegation.
The parties expressed their satisfaction with the progress of the project despite the COVID-19 pandemic, they confirmed that no disruption is foreseen as of today in the evaluation and risk analyses made for the upcoming milestones.
