NE-3.14R sub-cloud electric UAV successfully performed its test flight

The NE-3.14R unmanned aerial vehicle, which is completely produced locally and designed by Turkish engineers, successfully performed its test flight.

The tests of the NE-3.14R sub-cloud electric UAV, produced by Sekizaltmış Technology and Defense Industry, one of Türkiye's defense industry companies that set out with the principle of domestic production, were carried out at the TR Test trial site in Kalecik, Ankara.

NE-3.14R can stay in the air for a maximum of 120 minutes with a wingspan of 2.5 meters and a payload of 3 kilograms and was produced with the capacity to perform observation activities from an altitude of 3000-9000 feet.

NE-3.14, which can be launched from the catapult without the need for any runway, has the ability to land safely at the desired location with the parachute it has in the fuselage, after performing its duty in day and night conditions with the camera which is hidden also in the fuselage.

While it was stated that the mass production phase will be started after the completion of the tests of the NE-3.14R, it was also said that preparations are continuing within the company for the tests of the NE-3.14K, which is the model that can carry out suicide attacks on targets detected as a result of observation within the NE-3.14 UAV family.
