Naval Group unveils innovative defense solutions at Euronaval 2024

Naval Group is set to impress the defense community at Euronaval 2024, held in Paris from November 4 to 7, showcasing its latest advanced products and services that meet modern navies’ operational needs. With a strong legacy as a prime contractor, designer, and integrator of naval vessels for over 50 global navies, Naval Group brings a wealth of experience and expertise in naval combat and fleet performance optimization.

Among the innovations presented is the FDI frigate, a compact and versatile vessel capable of handling high-intensity naval engagements as well as crisis management. Its scalable design and modular construction allow for customization to meet specific operational requirements, with deliveries for France and Greece anticipated in 2025. Similarly, the Gowind® corvette offers a multi-mission platform with the robust capabilities of a light frigate, designed to adapt to a wide range of naval defense and maritime security operations.

Naval Group is also spotlighting cutting-edge systems like the Multi-purpose Modular Launcher System (MPLS), which offers unprecedented flexibility by enabling the deployment of various weapon types from a single platform. The F21 heavyweight torpedo, in service with both the French and Brazilian navies, exemplifies Naval Group’s advancements in underwater warfare, providing enhanced decision-making autonomy and real-time processing capabilities.

Naval Group’s commitment to drone technology will be evident with the SeaQuest® S, the Group’s first surface drone developed for military applications. This modular Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) highlights Naval Group’s strategic focus on autonomous systems that extend mission capabilities while keeping personnel out of harm’s way.
