Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob, who came to Turkey to make official contacts upon the invitation of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, visited the Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE) and Turkish Aerospace.
During his visit to MKE, Malaysian Prime Minister İsmail Sabri was welcomed by Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Deputy Minister of National Defense Muhsin Dere and MKE General Manager Yasin Akdere.
At the end of the visit, Minister Akar presented a Turkish National Infantry Rifle, MPT76, to Malaysian Prime Minister İsmail Sabri.
After his visit to MKE, Prime Minister Sabri went to Turkish Aerospace with Minister Hulusi Akar accompanying him.
During the visit a presentation was made to Prime Minister Sabri on the activities of Turkish Aerospace.
After the presentation, the delegation made a demonstration flight with Turkish Aerospace made Gökbey and ATAK helicopters, ANKA UAV and Hürkuş aircraft.
Prime Minister Sabri and Minister Akar then inspected the Hürjet production facilities.
