Malaysian Land Forces Commander General Tan Sri Datuk Zamrose bin Mohd Zain closely observed the AV-8 CBRN (Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear) 8x8 vehicles developed by FNSS during a military training by the Malaysian army.
In a statement made by FNSS on Instagram account, came the following:
“Army Commander (PTD), General Tan Sri Datuk Zamrose bin Mohd Zain has witnessed Combined Arms Gap Crossing Training as well as Chemical Biological Radioactive Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNe) capabilities with AV-8 8x8 CBRNe vehicle, at the Tactical Manouevre Training Pool at Syed Sirajuddin Camp, Gemas, Negeri Sembilan.”
In the photos shared by FNSS regarding the training, it is seen that Mohd Zain closely observed the 8x8 CBRN vehicles.
The AV-8 AENBCRV is fitted with CBRN detection equipment and systems to detect and classify of any type of chemical, biological, radioactive or nuclear agents. The vehicle can determine and classify the hazard zone and alert other military units and civilians of potential dangers, thus enabling them to take the necessary countermeasures.
