Kalekalıp successfully commissions new cold forged barrel production line

KALEKALIP, a Turkish company operating in the defense and weapons industry, has successfully commissioned its new high tech robotically automated cold forged barrel production line in June 2022.

With the new line, KALEKALIP will be able to produce high-performance assault rifle and machine gun barrels for 5.56mm and 7.62mm rounds more efficiently and in higher numbers, which will meet NATO Military standards and international military quality requirements and have the longest barrel life in their class.

Thanks to this new cold forging production line, KALEKALIP is now also able to manufacture 40mm automatic grenade launcher barrels that meets Class 2 military standards at a high level and started mass production in all calibers.
