SEDEC coordinator Hilal Ünal gave some important information to Defensehere about SEDEC, Turkey's first and only Homeland Security, Border Security and Internal Security Systems fair.
Speaking about how SEDEC will make the fair happen during the pandemic, Ünal said:
Due to the importance of both exhibitors’ and visitors’ health and public awareness, we postponed the SEDEC Conference, Fair, B2B / B2G event planned to be held on 2 - 4 June 2020 until 15-17 September 2020.
All measures will be taken at SEDEC due to the pandemic
SEDEC, will take the recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey as well as the measures announced by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). In addition, the guide published by UFI (The Global Association of The Exhibition Industry) was taken as a reference.
The distances between the exhibitor stands in the fair area have been rearranged and increased. Everyone's temperature will be measured with contactless devices at the entrance of the event area.
Digital talks will be held with SEDEC's own special, domestically developed software
At the SEDEC event in 2018, over 4,200 B2B and B2G meetings were held. The SEDEC organization will prepare B2B and B2G plans specific to each participant in order to reach these numbers. These plans will be prepared and executed using SEDEC's special, domestic software and registration system.
The industry representatives, decision-makers and the overseas purchasing authorities who cannot attend the event where it is held, will be able to have the database and make online B2B / B2G meetings through a domestically developed software.
There is a product to be launched at SEDEC
