Hensoldt is “committed to support Saudi Vision 2030, in multiple phases and multiple domains” said Walid Al-Qahtani, Regional Sales Manager at Hensoldt, in an interview with DefenseHere at the World Defense Show 2024 held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Al-Qahtani said among other areas, “Hensoldt is taking up upon their shoulders” commitments for localization in the Saudi defense industry as well as code development and transfer of technology.
Emphasizing Hensoldt’s support for Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, Al-Qahtani stated:
“We have established some of the collaboration plans that we are working on at this moment and we think that it's going to be a great future partnership with local companies, local partnerships as well, that we are supporting the Saudization of building the capabilities of the young users in Saudi and give them into the defense industry that we believe is going to be the dominant market within the next couple of years.”
