HAVELSAN participated in the World Defense Show (WDS) held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on 04 – 08 February 2024.
Welcoming its visitors at booth A4 in Hall 1, HAVELSAN held meetings with military delegations and delegations from different countries in the scope of the fair.
The company exhibited the Naval Combat Management System ADVENT, DOOB C41 System, Air Force Command and Control System TICCS, Maritime Security Solution MATRA, Sub-Cloud UAV System BAHA and Armed Unmanned Surface Vehicle SANCAR at the 5-day fair.
HAVELSAN signed two agreements in Saudi Arabia
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between HAVELSAN, one of the Turkish defense and technology companies, the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia, and the General Authority for Military Industry (GAMI).
This agreement will facilitate the establishment of a HAVELSAN office in Saudi Arabia and expand HAVELSAN's global presence in the Middle East to three locations in addition to its offices in Oman and Qatar.
The company signed another agreement with INTRA Defense Technologies. The Memorandum of Understanding Ceremony, held on February 5, 2024 with the participation of President of Defense Industries Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, aims to create a synergy between HAVELSAN's expertise in simulation and pilot training technologies and INTRA's expertise in military design, engineering, development, production and logistics support.
