Hanwha and WB Group sign joint venture agreement at MSPO

Hanwha is presenting a range of defense and aerospace solutions at the MSPO defense industry exhibition, which opened in Kielce, Poland on September 2 and will run until September 5.

On the first day of the exhibition, Hanwha Aerospace and Poland’s WB Group signed a joint venture agreement to establish a local production facility in Poland for CGR-080 guided missiles for the Homar-K system.

Hanwha also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Military University of Technology (WAT) in Warsaw and held a donation event for Polish war veterans.

In the naval sector, Hanwha Ocean’s KSS-III submarine, offered for Poland’s Orka program, drew attention from visitors.

The company welcomed several official delegations to its stand, including Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, South Korea’s Deputy Minister of National Defense Hyunki Cho, as well as military representatives from Saudi Arabia and Norway.

Hanwha is exhibiting at Hall 1, Booth A14 during the fair.
