The Jackal, a newly developed unmanned aerial vehicle by Fly Bvlos Technology, made its first flight in front of government officials.
Fly Bvlos Technology operates in the fields of drone development and training drone pilots at GTU Technopark. The test flights of Jackal continue at the company's campus in Dronepark.
Jackal made a demonstration flight to the Turkish Armed Forces in Ankara and received great acclaim from military and civilian officials.
Jackal, which can take off and land vertically, is a first in Turkey with its two electric ducted fan motors for forward thrust.
The Jackal can carry 15 kilograms of payload and has a range of 130 kilometers. In the coming years, the company aims to increase the payload and range of the UAV with new versions aimed to satisfy end users' mission requirements.
Fly Bvlos Technology will also sign the first export deal for Jackal with a ceremony it will organize on Monday, April 25.
