In an interview with Defensehere.com, the Senator of the Philippines, Juan Miguel F. Zubiri, evaluated the Asian Defense and Security Exhibition 2024.
Juan Miguel F. Zubiri, the Senator of the Philippines, highlighted the importance of the timing for the Asian Defense and Security Exhibition (ADAS), because they expect investors to come and make agreements with the Armed Forces of the Philippines, which will also be beneficial for the Self-Reliant Defense Posture program (SRDP) they’re about to sign.
He said that ADAS is not only beneficial for the Philippines but also the countries that are part of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership program.
He highlighted the importance of strengthening the Self-Reliance Defense Posture due to several situations such as border tensions.
The senator also expressed the success of the exhibition.
