The Emirati technology and defense group EDGE announced the launch of three new unmanned products on the first day of the Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference (UMEX) and Simulation and Training Exhibition (SimTEX) taking place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Commenting on EDGE’s participation in the exhibition, Mansour Al Mulla, CEO of EDGE Group expressed pride in EDGE’s third appearance as the event’s Strategic Partner and said that their launch of new unmanned products is “highlighting the Group’s dedication to developing extensive and diverse capabilities” to their customers.
What will the new vehicles provide?
At the exhibition, EDGE launched the products GY300, BUNKER PRO and M-BUGGY.
GY300 is an unmanned low-maintenance, high-reliability logistics autogyro, capable of transporting a 300kg payload.
BUNKER PRO is a tracked, high-performance unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), with fully autonomous operations such as remote surveillance, exploration, platooning, target identification, and perimeter patrol.
M-BUGGY is a wheeled, multi-terrain UGV, utilizing the latest imaging and sensor technology to provide actionable ISR data.
EDGE Group will be welcoming attendees of UMEX and SimTEX in Hall 5, Stand A18 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) between 23 to 25 January.
