In an interview with Defensehere.com Samad Syed, the Business Intelligence Manager of ADSB, talked about the potential partnerships and presented their latest products.
Mr. Samad Syed presented four major products they have been displaying at the exhibition. The BR-71 MK II Combattante, 60M FALAJ 3, FA-400 Offshore Patrol Vessel and 17-meter USV program.
The ADSB 71-metre MK II Combattante vessel represents a powerful and exciting evolution and upgrade to the CMN (Construction Mécaniques de Normandie) sea proven Baynunah class. It is designed by CMN for littoral warfare defense operations against air and surface threats and a range of surveillance missions.
The 60-metre FALAJ 3 naval patrol vessel is designed and equipped suitably not only for advanced Naval duties but also for tackling the present-day challenges of asymmetric warfare.
The FA-400 offshore patrol vessel is built for speed and is equipped to perform a range of territorial and coastal offshore duties, including providing support to military operations, search and rescue, area surveillance, and patrol.
At last, he presented their 17-meter USV which is currently under testing. It is developed in partnership with local partner companies in UAE. He also said that the vessel will be on the market soon.
He also pointed out the opportunities for new partners and partnerships via the exhibition and commented: “We see a lot of potential partnerships. Even for our industry, the sea building industry, we see a lot of potential partnerships that we can take back home and start working on them.”
