In an interview with Defensehere.com, Lazar Igrutinovic, the Marketing Manager of the Serbian-based defense company EDePro, presented their state-of-art products at MSPO in Poland.
Stating that EDePro's 122mm rockets were exhibited at their booth, Igrutinovic also said that these rockets were very popular in the last four years.
He noted that they are developing a new model with a range of 20 km, which is twice as short as the Thunder 1. He said that the lighter weight of this rocket increases its maneuverability and makes it easier to transport.
He said that they are also developing a new generation of warheads that are more aerodynamic.
He made the following statements about the G2000 SL and G2000 SL Plus products:
“G2000 SL is currently the rocket with the highest range in its caliber in the world. It can cover 46km and it has around 5000 fragments in warhead. On the other hand, (G2000) SL Plus rocket has the highest number of fragments 5830.”
He also talked about their new project, 262mm MLRS caliber rockets, which they are developing. He said that they plan to start serial production of guided and unguided versions of this rocket, which has a 150kg warhead and a range of 70.7 km, next year.
