BMC, a Turkish defense company with years of experience in military vehicles, showcased its military vehicles and engines at the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) held between 20-24 February 2023 in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Armored Combat Vehicle and Armored Personnel Carrier 8x8 Altug, Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicle 4x4 AMAZON and Armored Pickup 4x4 TULGA were exhibited at the BMC stand.
In particular, TULGA attracted great interest from those who came to the BMC stand.
BMC Power engines exhibited abroad for the first time
400 hp Tuna and 600 hp Azra engines produced by BMC Power, one of BMC's subsidiaries, were introduced at the BMC stand. Thus, BMC Power engines were exhibited abroad for the first time.
Kirpi II armored vehicle entered the United Arab Emirates inventory
At IDEX 2023, International Golden Group's booth also featured the Kirpi II armored vehicle manufactured by BMC for the UAE army. It was seen that the vehicle was configured according to the requirements of the UAE security forces.
The vehicle, called K2, was exhibited with SARP Remote Controlled Stabilized Weapon System produced by ASELSAN.
BMC had the largest export figures in its field by realizing 45 percent of the 428 million dollars export of the Turkish defense industry in land vehicles in 2022.
