The Farnborough International Airshow, among the foremost events in the global aviation, defense, and space industries, commenced in Farnborough, the UK on Monday, with the debut participation of ASELSAN, Türkiye's largest defense industry company.
ASELSAN is showcasing its advanced military and civilian air platform systems designed to enhance the operational capabilities of helicopters, airplanes, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), safeguarding the skies against modern battlefield threats.
The systems on display include electro-optical reconnaissance, surveillance and targeting systems, radar systems, guided munitions, integrated avionics systems, communication radios and electronic warfare (EW) systems for military and civilian air platforms.
ASELSAN aims to distinguish itself with cutting-edge technologies such as the ASELFLIR-500 electro-optical reconnaissance, surveillance, and targeting system, AESA technology, ALP 300-G Early Warning Radar System, MURAD AESA nose radar, and TOLUN Guided Munition. These systems are renowned for their exceptional performance in UAVs and unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs), having demonstrated their effectiveness in combat scenarios.
Additionally, products such as the TOYGUN electro-optical sensor and targeting system, KARAT infrared search, detection, and tracking system, and YILDIRIM-100 directed infrared countermeasure (DIRCM) system are exhibited for the for the first time abroad.
The Farnborough International Airshow is scheduled from July 22 to 26, offering a platform for strategic engagements and industry advancements.
