ARES Shipyard drew on its expertise in steel, aluminum and composite construction in the development of ULAQ Armed Unmanned Surface Vessel (AUSV).
ARES Shipyard has made numerous sales to navies, coast guards, maritime law enforcement agencies and private companies. The company has achieved this by investing heavily in its human resources, organization and quality management, integrated logistics support and advanced production technologies.
ARES Shipyard, which is also "Turkey's Largest Ship Exporter" and "Europe's Largest Aluminum and Composite Boat Manufacturer", also received the World's Best Patrol Boat Manufacturer Award.
ARES Shipyard has come to an important place in the Turkish defense industry with the products it has developed and produced. One of them, ULAQ AUSV, is Turkey's first combat unmanned sea vehicle developed jointly by ARES Shipyard and Meteksan Defense.
